For more than 150 years, Catholics in the Archdiocese of Chicago have come together to build parishes and schools, initiate social service programs and pass on the faith to present and succeeding generations. They have been intentional in their sacrifice and dedication to carry on the mission of the Church, which, in a word, is To Teach Who Christ Is. Remarkably, these efforts have benefited not only the Catholic community but the whole of society, as our schools and social services have touched the lives of people of all faiths. This is a tradition that should make us all proud and which we should embrace with dignity as it is passed on to us.
The campaign "To teach who Christ is" wants to raise $350 million to ensure the future of this catholic educations. 40% of the funds raised will be used for scholarships, critical facility issues, religious education and academic excellence.

What are our projects?
Durante más de 150 años, los católicos de la Arquidiócesis de Chicago se han unido para construir parroquias y escuelas, iniciar programas de servicios sociales y transmitir la fe a las generaciones actuales y a las próximas. Con su sacrificio y dedicación han mostrado su intención de llevar a cabo la misión de la Iglesia, la cual, en una palabra es Enseñar Quién es Cristo. Sorprendentemente, estos esfuerzos han beneficiado no sólo a la comunidad católica, sino a toda la sociedad, ya que nuestras escuelas y servicios sociales han tenido un impacto en las vidas de personas de todos los credos. Esta es una tradición que debe hacernos sentir orgullosos y que debemos acoger con dignidad al heredarla.
La campaña "Enseñar quién es Cristo" quiere recaudar $350 millones para asegurar el futuro de esa educación católica. 40% de los fondos recaudados se usarán para becas, reparaciones urgentes, educación religiosa y excelencia académica.

Parking Lot Transformation
Transforming the parking lot into a safe area for our children to play will allow us to maximize the space. We will also replace the mobile unit with a shrine, creating a more welcoming area
Remodelación del estacionamiento
La remodelación de la zona de aparcamiento en una zona segura para que los niños juegen nos permitirá maximizar el espacio. También sustituiremos la unidad móvil por un santuario, creando así un espacio más acogedor.
Renovation of the sacristy
Renovating the sacristy will allow servers and celebrants to prepare for services in a safe environment. Asbestos in the floor will be eliminated, and furniture added will improve the sacristy´s ambiance

La renovación de la sacristía permitirá a los servidores y celebrantes prepararse para la liturgia en un entorno seguro. Se eliminará el asbesto del piso y los nuevos muebles mejorarán el ambiente de la sacristía inspirando un espíritu de reflexión y oración.
